Just watched the highlights of the U21s against Liverpool. I know we have some die-hards who get out to see these games and wondered what people thought of Forren. On the highlights he looked good, but I'd welcome the view of someone who saw the game. And while we're at it, was the game as good as it looked from the highlights?
It was a good game,,,we dominated with high levels of skill against a more experienced Liverpool side. We started to fade towards the end, but held out for a deserved draw. As we were good going forwards and Omar Rowe was attracting attention, I didn't see so much of Forren. My impression was that he was good, scored a nice goal (which was intended, unlike the commentator thought), but was caught out by a brilliant through ball (which luckily didn't result in a goal). Being caught out in that way is something we are likely to see more of with our style of play. P.s. Gazzaniga played well.
Morning Channon! I think most people who went have already posted. See link. Consensus seems to be he should start on saturday. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/199443-Saints-U21s-v-Liverpool-U21s-Tonight
And in doing so spare me my senior blushes. Very gracious! Thanks for the summary, and Lamballana thank you for the link - I should have spotted that!
