Ha ha.In those heady days when the fans could influence things I was persuaded to buy shares in the club.20 people buying shares at £1.15 would deliver Nogan at £100,000.Being able to cough up and along with other people we took the plunge! The result was ,we had purchased a donkey. Our shares if still around are today worth 15p each! The only return was a sense that the fans made the club.I hope in these days of money driven clubs that in the future, the fans will one day be seen to be seen to be the heartbeat. Today,I will admit that even buying season tickets is a stretch but my passion is unchanged!
LOL I recall these days you speak of. Strange though I don’t recall a lot of said Kurt Nogan apart from the bit you have already mentioned!!
I remember him at Preston, they were flying high at the top of the third division, and they whacked us 0-4 at a rainy windswept deserted Ninian Park. We were dire and relegated that year I think. Cardiff born Nogan was on fire, and ironically joined us a few seasons later. He had become crap, and he was ours!i
Well you have proved one point. So forgettable I got his name wrong lol.I still got an invite to the shareholders meeting this month.I think my original 5k investment is worth about two bob.No doubt the same as a loyal fan's opinion on the shirts and badge!
LOL I didn’t even notice the name I was just poking fun at apart from the likes of yourself helping to fund the move I would have forgot he every joined.
