Anyone like the look of this line up?

  1. We're all unhappy with Ameobi and Lovenkrands, so how about this line up?

    -----------------------Harper---------------------

    -Simpson-------Taylor----------Coloccini------Enrique

    -Barton--------------Tiote/Guthrie--------------Ferguson

    -----------Nolan--------------------Gutierrez-------

    ------------------------Best----------------------

This way we still get the threat of Nolan and Jonas on goal, and we can let Ferguson have his chance to shine. 4 games out of 5 you might aswell play with 10 men if you play with Loverman or Ameobi. Lets just have Jonas and Nolan attacking with Best, and Barton, Tiote and Ferguson pushing up the pitch. I'd put Guthrie in the CM spot when Tiote is out.

I'm not looking to compare line ups here, i'm just asking for people's opinions on this one.

    Thanks.

Not overly convinced feel we'd be too light in the centre of midfield, u'd b better playing Gutierrez on the right like he did in the 08/09 season.

I like your lineup but for me Ben Arfa and Ireland behind the striker when they're fit, to this I'd drop nolan back insted of Ferguson. Apart from that it looks like the strongest line up we could have IMO. Is this for now considering injurys or just assuming everyones fit?

Oh and of course Tiote before guthrie every time

Like bands like the Offspring, Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars, but not enough to warrant paying £200 or so. Could fund all the pre-seasons that :)

I'm assuming he put Tiote/Guthrie for when Tiote is suspended...

I actually quite like this like up if I'm honest.

And I'm guessing none of you are fans of Pulp/The Strokes then?
Depends what kinda music you're into I suppose. Personally I'd go for Strokes, Pulp, Elbow, Madness, Pete Doherty, Bombay Bicycle Club, Offspring, Horrors, White Lies
I hate MCR and 3STM... ha
Our band got put forward to play Leeds Fest 2009. was between us and another band, and the other band got it. bastards. they were just generic crap rock. gutted ha.

I think the lineup was better last year, still looking forward to the strokes/pulp, interpol, the streets and some of the smaller bands

I like it, but Barton would have to cut in a fair bit to support Guthrie if Nolan and Gutierrez are given free roles. Also Williamson over Taylor, who has no positional sense at all and isnt as good in the air.

The Strokes new album is a bit sketchy, they're still one of my favourite bands though. I like Pulp, The Horrors, Pete Doherty, Warpaint, Chapel Club, Interpol and Muse. I'm not sure whether I'm going yet, I might just go to Leeds on the Sunday.

Blank/The Blanks. You wont find anything about us though. Knock around the BBC Radio Lincolnshire site and you might. It was only for the introducing stage but still, s'all good. My mates brothers band've played it like 4 times. Google them, they're bigger, The Neat. Released singles/videos n the lot. They were the first band to play it last year I think. On the only band stage on the Thursday evening.

    Looove the strokes and pulp

It's not brilliant. I think it's a grower though. I'm gonna make a solid decision on my opinion after a few more listens through. Some albums are like that I suppose, they don't instantly hit ya.

The Blanks - used to be a punk band back in the late 70's called the Blanks, did a song Called 'The Northern Ripper' then became The Destructors, who in one form or another are still floating about today
