My youngest grandson (9) has asked to have 2 tickets to a Rangers game and be a mascot for the day as part of his Xmas present. Any one know how I can go about it?

My son was a Mascot and had a fab day. Went in the players dressing rooms. met the manager and was looked after by the great Gareth Ainsworth. loads of video/pictures/ball/kit... Loved it. Funnily it was also an awkward moment for me as we were playing Reading and they got him to meet the Reading team! Can you imagine how I felt walking around shaking hands with all those fakes! <yikes> I didn't know whether to shake their hands or kick them in the shins.

Couldn’t afford Rangers for my lad so took him to Wycombe. Of the 8 mascots that day 4 others were also R’s doing the same thing!

You might ask TEd, he's been a mascot for Millwall a couple of times recently.

Aghh annoying, can't remember the guys name, but a couple of years back I was taking my eldest to a game for her birthday, I posted on a faceache forum if anyone knew if there is anything the club could do. One guy from the club got in contact, we got pitch side before the game giving the players high 5's on their way off the pitch, name on the scoreboard and a little gift pack after the game... all done for nothing at all. Was a great gesture by the club.

One of my daughters did this four years ago when we played Leicester live on Sky. ( The squirrel match. ) I received a phone call from the club saying that she had been picked out of the hat. It was free except that you had to have the full kit. You go on the pitch about an hour before the game and have a kick about. Unfortunately it was bucketing down with rain and got soaked. The club photographer takes loads of photo's which the club put onto a disc and sends them to you about a week later. When she did the walk onto the pitch she was allocated to Joey Barton ( There were five mascots. ) but he was late coming out of the dressing room so was told to go with Charlie Austin instead. She was disappointed because he completely blanked her and never even said hello. She said most of the other players were nice to them though, especially Richard Dunne. Overall it was good experience for her and she has fond memories of the occasion but no longer likes Austin.
