Hahahaha... I wondered when someone would put the first post up on the new Football Betting thread... Good on yer Jeff...
It seems it has failed to entice anyone, other than your good self, onto this fledgling board. Hows things with you anyway Red?
Good Jeff... To be honest i cant wait for the footy to start next season as we have so many teams all with question marks over what will happen to them... Im sure that the football betting will be very hard to predict... As for the rest of the time i had a poor Ascot... Didnt bet on most of the races but the ones i did do are still running...!!! Plus im just up on my golf bets for the year to... Its being a tough year for me on the betting front for now... But it will all change, im confident of that...
Should be interesting, looks like Liverpool are buying anything that moves. Which also suggests they are preparing for Suarez and Reina to go the other way. It looks pretty bleak for them. Might have a look on the odds offered on them finish in the bottom half of the table this year, Rogers in charge they may even be looking over their shoulder at the bottom 3. League looks wide open this year, Utd squad on paper look very weak and without Fergie will struggle. As for Donny Rovers, I'll take 21st! Going to be a difficult season for little ol Donny Rovers!
I too had a bad ascot, the horses I stuck a few pennies on romped home while the horses I had gone in balls deep were touched off or nowhere to be seen.
Man U could romp the league this year IF certain things happen. Eg there is the possibility of Ronaldo returning, there is a possibility that Fabregas might join Van Percy and also there is talk of what's his name from Spurs joining United but I think that is only if they don't get Ronaldo.
i support a team in the welsh premier-- we soetimes get some really stand out betting matches-- willl attempt to advise when the time arises-- weakend sides, out of form more fancied teams etc.....
I think the good ante post bet is readuing for the championship. They have kep a decent manager and most of their players and are certain to be very strong. I'd obviously prefer it to be watford but we'll see how we go!
