So...........you don't want to go to support the team that you think will win the league by 10 points?

    Why not?

    Ah.....Ok.

Maybe you could put an S in front of the posts when you're being sincere and a B when you're talking bollocks?
    Many thanks in advance.

I have nothing to hide and am thankful I have been through the spectrum

Col was too quick and I missed the strike

I thought the clear bright skies of the Languedoc would prove the antidote to grey wet England & the tortured saga that QPR inflicts on us all

I have a terrible memory but if nines knows him he will point him out. We shared a warm embrace last and only time we met. What a night. I hope it was as good for him. I will settle for the same score line tomorrow night.

DT - Hope you are enjoying your winter break. I have long been fascinated by the rich history of Languedoc, the food & wine and the mysterious Cathars with their hilltop castles and odd traditions.

I enjoyed meeting you at the Crown & Sceptre back on Nov 23rd before the Charlton game.

BTW, I also like the simplicity of your proposed badge design.

Regarding the wines of this region, my wife is a Pinet and a few years' back one Christmas her brother brought everyone a bottle of this wine which I quite enjoyed:-

    Picpoul de Pinet

A white wine appellation produced with the regional zesty white wine variety, Picpoul. Perfect with oysters.

What is Languedoc Roussillon famous for?

    • Caving & Camping
    • Beautiful French-Roman villages
    • The Pyrenees
    • Epic driving roads & tunnels

And, of course, great wine. For wine enthusiasts on a budget, Languedoc-Roussillon is becoming known as a great value wine region. So what do you need to know about The Languedoc (“LONG-eh-DOCK”) to get great wine?
Here is a helpful (and inspiring) guide that was outlined by a Languedoc-Roussillon local, Julien Vaché. Learn what types of wines to look for and, if you visit, where you should travel for a wine country vacation.

    http://winefolly.com/review/languedoc-roussillon-wine-region/

Unfortunately wine sales are government controlled here in New Brunswick, Canada, so you can only buy wines they carry. Is there anything off the attached listing that they carry that you could perhaps recommend?

Where are you located in this region? Here people with disposal income and retirees tend to go to Florida in the winter months (my in-laws go for 4 mths, Jan - Apr each year) - never been but holds little interest for me, other than escaping winter - would much prefer your locale.

I realise that it is only a Mon evening and I have work tomorrow, but I would sure like to pop the cork on one of these Languedoc wines right now after cleaning up my driveway of snow & ice and now it is raining but going back to deep freeze conditions overnight.
