Well week one is done and dusted, so how can we improve our board? Should we start a chat thread every week, if so, does anyone want to do it on a regular basis or shall we take turns? What about weekly pick'ems with the winner displaying his knowledge as a signature? What do you guys think?
Can probably keep the one chat thread going, can't we? Or maybe have that as a chat thread for news through the week, then a separate "Week (whatever) Game Thread".
Yep I can stick them both, then unstick the weekly one and stick the replacement for the next week, sounds good to me.
I'd say go for a 'The Redzone pub' thread title for your day to day chat. And a weekly pick em thread seperate of the pick em rankings thread. Also, to promote I'd say ask brb if he can enforce a sticky thread on every board for a week to promote the NFL board say like: OI! You just missed the start of the NFL season! Im afraid I can't handle the week threads anymore, going to be swamped the next couple of weeks with work and I've got to keep up with my own website. I'll do a couple but it'll be over soon for me.
Redzone Pub that's good. I already did the brb request by asking him on the moderator board last year. He let me go on every board, which I did, but some of them weren't too friendly! I could ask some of the other moderators if they wouldn't mind putting some sort of ad on their boards. Good luck with your website, I really liked the threads you did for us last year they were excellent.
