I won't be going. I paid £30 to watch Valencia and they give tickets away free to the university, job centre staff and the ****ing DVLA for free. What's to stop them doing the same again? They won't take the piss out of me a 2nd time. Should have given tickets to the fans who went to Russia or Romania the bastards I wouldn't complain about that

    Yep.
My sentiments exactly and others not happy.
    Taken from another board:-
"It was with great annoyance that I read the ticketing arrangements for the up and coming Europa Cup home fixture with Napoli.
The arrangement makes no concession for fans who have supported the Swans throughout this campaign but who are not Season Ticket holders.
There are many non-season ticket holders, like myself, who purchased a group ticket for home games in the league section, attended home and away games versus Malmo, Petrolul, St. Gallen and Valencia who may now fail to get tickets for the match with Napoli; and if tickets are available we will have to pay double that of season ticket holders irrespective of their support for Swansea City in the Europa Cup.
The argument that season ticket buyers put money into the club before the start of the season and therefore should be further rewarded is phony; season ticket holders already gain through less cost for seats for all home games and first choice of tickets in all other competitions - that should be enough.
The mild annoyance I felt when watching the game against Valencia knowing I had paid fully and in advance when so many ‘non-supporters’ had been gifted free tickets, to a degree, spoiled my enjoyment of the game. Should I get a ticket for the Napoli game I’m not sure I will be able to enjoy the experience, and am seriously considering cancelling my trip to Italy in February as a direct result of yet another ticketing debacle.
I would have thought the massive misjudgment to give free tickets to employees of the DVLA in December would have concentrated minds over this issue. "

I can understand the annoyance of many regarding the ticketing arrangements, but it's only once in a blue moon that a team like Napoli come to town so I'll be there.

Fair play to the Swans they are trying to address the debacle of ticketing at the Valencia game - unfortunately it is difficult to please everyone.

I agree with giving away tickets for these sort of games but not until the very last minute when the Club knows how many are left unsold. If the alternative is a stadium that's half empty then it's a no brainer. An empty stadium in Europe is embarrassing and doesn't lift the team.

No offence but I think supporting the team is more important than cutting your nose off to spite your face of make some kind of point. For that reason I will definitely be going.

Perhaps there should have been a loyalty scheme for the Euro matches. With hindsight it is easy to see now, but we can't make the same mistake when we get in the Champions League.

Oh go on then, I'll bite....will you be hoping that Laudrup rests the first team, Bony in particular, and prioritises our relegation scrap in the Premier League?

Is that what you were looking for Desperate Dai?
Was it good for you? <laugh>
