If anyone from the board is going to Morecambe this Saturday and is interested in putting faces to names would they please PM me.

According to my calculations this is going to be the longest away trip in the league this season (using Priestfield as a starting point), so for those of you travelling up from the South East, have a safe journey. Fortunately I've only got about 55 miles to go.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll see you at the Bradford game at Priestfield. There are plans afoot to come down for that one, providing the snow arrives later this year.

This Saturday a friend offered me use of his season ticket (about on the half way line) at the Etihad to see City play Wolves - I have followed / supported City since I moved up here in 1973 and had a season ticket on the Kippax at Maine Road for many seasons. So the choice is, do I travel about 8 miles and see my 'second' team for free, who just happen to be top of the Premiership and playing the most entertaining football they've done for about 40 years, not to mention scoring goals for fun. Or do I travel 55 miles to pay £15 see my (fourth tier) first team on one of their forays into this part of the world.

His son took up the offer when I declined.

Just had to look up the date of the Bradford fixture, Saturday 26th November - I'll be there <ok>

Cricketers or Blues Rock is good for me.

I'll let you know closer to the date. Cricketers is probably favourite and if I do make it down I'll certainly make sure I'm there in time for a pint or two. I want to have time beforehand to wander round the area to remenice as its ages since I've been there in daylight.

Just hope the weather stays respectable, as I'm quite looking forward to it.

Cricketers in Sturdee is fine with me too.

Hate paying for the over priced stuff in the blues rock <ok>
