Local one for me, I'll be there but sitting with the Barnet fans (with a Barnet mate).
I'll report on the game later if anyone is interested.

First half . .well, more interesting watching paint dry.
Definitely A new style of play lots of passing, but with no intent .
Skuse has sprayed a number of good passes out to the rushing full backs, but is playing a deeper role .
    Bart's kicking is awful.
Chambers very tidy and not been tested .
Wolfy looks ok, but needs to step up if he wants in the first team.
Kenlock's positional is terrible, and not really offering mich.
Emmanuel is just awful and so cumbersome . Whipped a couple of crosses in, but is slow and can't take a man on.
    Downes not offered much .
Ward by far our best player, running with the ball And taking men on. I think he's better suited to a central role.
Roberts, flashes of good work, looking for the ball a lot, and decent running . Could be a decent signing .
Waggy, not a lot..one decent free kick effort.
Sears, excellent running off the ball, but no one seems to see the pass, i feel for him.
There's obviously an intent to get the ball wide, but when you don't have players that can cross, or have a target man..pointless.
I'll report back with the 2nd half

Not much else to report really.
It was refreshing to see us actually pass and keep the ball, and there is definitely a change in direction and style of play.
We were trying to attack down the wings, but the problem is, we have the same group of players who have never been used to that, so any team better than Barnet will pi$$ all over us. We are definitely a work in progress and it'll take til next season to see the real benefits.
We still need 3 or 4 more players with a striker, cb, and at least one full back.
It's going to be a long hard season, and we really coukd struggle

    Not really westy, awful game.
Best part of the day was at the final whistle, Dozzell sr was giving Andre a run down and advice on the touchline next to the town fans and then mingling with them.
But I know what you mean about seeing the boys live, I don't go often so yeah it's always a buzz seeing them live

    Ahh well, least you went.

Live you pick up a hell of a lot you don't by watching on tv - various players movement out of shot of the camera that people who see a game on tv vs you who've seen it in the stands often have a completely different opinion as to who played really well any given day.
