Keep Cardiff blue? Stable door and horse springs to mind. Or is the rebranding still a live issue? Like it or lump it history shows rich owners usually get their way. No offence.

Sorry John but this keep Cardiff Blue stuff is pie in the sky.

Last demo they had ended up with about 20 spotty faces youngsters.

They are not doing Cardiff City any favours.

JH. Who are you protesting to? Are you going to the ground? Sounds more like a reason for a piss up!

Might be worth trying to see 1000 people try and fit into a pub.

If true, what a waste of time - unless the main purpose is just to have a day on the booze, can't argue with that. <ale>

However, some people need to wake up and smell the coffee.

All it will do is give the Jacks more ammunition to throw at us.

    Yep.
Because the key to logical reasoning and rational argument is to get pissed and start shouting.
    God these people embarrass us.

Nothing wrong with drinking, nothing wrong with voicing an opinion- put the two together and it's just plain bloody stupid

Ash...I think it's actually Belgian....probably the only good thing to come out of there except the smurfs.
Me! I don't mind German beer but I love to tell the locals that call me for liking warm, flat drinks that in this case, a good pint of ale beats German stuff head over heels........I tell them I could p*ss in a jar, add some baking powder and throw it in a fridge and after two hours no-one would tell the difference from the fizz they serve. It's a good way to start a conversation on beer.

As for the OP, they would be better starting a protest about bringing back rationing. people were more healthy during the war but it's about as relevant to today's life as changing the shirt colour. As has often been said on these boards, go the whole hog and get brown and yellow stripes back or demand to play in some bloody park in the city centre that no longer exists.

JH I prefer a currywurst mit pommes und Mayonaisse. Not so many Schnell Imbiss around these days compliments of McDs and Burger King. I used to love their burgers with onion bits and senf. Well I think they were onion bits...

I can't believe there are 1,000 fans who are that bothered.
Woe is me, we're playing in red. We've sold our heritage ..... We've lost the soul of our club .... We are traitors to the true cause of blueness ...
    BLAH BLAH BLOODY BLAH.
We all still chant Bluebirds. What's the fuss? Every time we played in red, or yellow, or black years ago did these people protest, refuse to go to away matches? Did they support Pompey at Wembley because they played in blue? How far do you go with this lunacy?
Hands up those who think we will still be playing in red in ten years' time? Kids, grow up.

Amstel is Dutch named after the River Amstel in Amsterdam. Are there actually many supporters left who have stayed away following the change of shirt colour? No doubt Saturday's event will have a decent turn out but there is a strong likliehood it will be for the booze rather than the colour of the shirt because most sane people realise Tan will not change his mind.
