    ............Not surprised we won today?

We have the squad, the manager and therefore the skill.

I never thought we would lose. We are a match for Liverpool now. This result was more expected from me!

I must admit I thought a draw, Liverpool looked good against Arsenal last week but they were poor today.

So that's Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool we've beaten at home this season, Man utd still to come and I think we can beat them. I'm hoping we will break the 50 point barrier this season. that's only 13 points from 30. Given our awful start to the season add to that I was seriously worried about relegation at the end of Bruce's era then we have been remarkable really. Under MON I think there have only been two games where we were deservedly beaten, Spuds and WBA

Syd 1-0 not great for the nerves but after the last 40 years I will take a coupe of seasons grinding out 1-0s whilst we develop a great squad and then push on, getting away any delegation fears!

I was expecting to get something out of todays game.

Contrast that with 6 months ago when I would have expected us to get " wa backsides kicked today".

We've come a long way since Bruce.

    Was expecting more.

We are imo a far superior team. Happy with a 1-0 win this season tho. Expect more next season. Arsenal, chelsea etc on a downward spiral, we are on the up.

How about we beat them last game and make City champions? Both my son and grandson are MU fans and have bet on us winning FA cup!!!!!!!

Today was a thoroughly professional performance, from a thoroughly professional manager and a very decent squad of players.

We were like an old Liverpool team of the 70's or 80's today. Worked our socks off and took one of the few chances created by either team, then just ground out the win and snuffed out the opposition. Fantastic stuff.

Could we get something out of next weeks game?

    God I hope so.

    Defence is very solid now.

With no Sessegnon I was a bit wary and expected 0-0.

So 1-0 win a big big bonus ....

..and not a beach ball in sight ... LOL

    :)
