Don't mind Leeds and I live in Bristol so raised nothing more than a smile for me. Laughed like a drain when I heard the West Ham score though - all that bluster and arrogance and little old Cardiff spoiled their big day. A couple more games like that and half their squad gone by September and they might learn how tough this league is.
With Bristol getting hammered they now realise there defence is crap and needs replacing. They have no money to replace it with anyway. Bristol fans said Maynard didnt look interested and didnt try. Leeds are a laughing stock and after how they treated Kasper I found it quite amusing. They said it was all Schmeichel's fault they conceded so many goals yet they get in an even worse keep in Andy Lonergan and the defence is still the same so they will continue to concede loads of goals

If Maynard was available I think we would be more then interested, we never made a 4th bid as far I know it was just rumours about Waggy. We waited which looks very clever on the face of things. Now they need to sell or if they carry on the way they are they are going to face a long hard season fighting relegation as their defence is pathetic.
The thing is though I doubt they are going to ring Sven up and say 'lets talk'. We have already moved on.
We chased him for along time and he is still on our radar. The mercury thinks we are after Maynard, Long and Robbie Keane. If Bristol now want to do business I think Sven will be more then interested. I think we may even get him cheaper then 5M now
Would it cross Sven's mind that he would cheaper now though? I mean we speculate he would be cheaper, maybe they'd still be awkward about it? I can't see Sven going back.
It also made me chuckle when Hull lost given all the mouth they've been giving us. On Maynard, if Bristol were now willing to sell, then I'm sure that Sven would be given more encouragement to bid again and we know that's his number 1 target so he probably wouldn't hesitate to go back in. So if we see Sven bidding again, then that bid will almost certainly be accepted so Sven's actions will give us a big clue as to Bristol's mindset. Millen has said that if Maynard hasn't signed come the back end of August, the board will probably look to sell and that situation seems to be materialising now.
Didnt laugh at Brizzle at all but hopefully the score will have had an effect on Maynard and may just dent his confidence in staying. Leeds, loved it..
James Wesolowski has just been released by Peterborough and has signed for Oldham with Dickov and Taggart. Shame Weso had the injury as he looked a class player when he first broke through. Injury may of cost him his chance with us

I'd personally swap Wham and Leeds for Cov and Hull as I don't mind them, but if it were offered now I'd take it

I love how you think you must know everything about Kasper Schmeichel because he's played what 2 games for you. He was average, he made the occasional flashy save, most often in front of the cameras. When you need Kasper the most he will let you down. We've been saying this for 6 months, but you've only chosen to listen to us after you bought him. 1.5 mil was a bargain....for us, we got an average keeper for free and then sold him on to the championship version of Man City for 1.5mil and bought a better keeper for 200k. I also love the way Leicester fans seem to think because they splashed a bit of cash there practically guaranteed promotion, money doesn't necessarily equal success, Man city for example, they practically bought Europe's best and brightest stars, they spent so much money they should of won the league but instead they have only just qualified for champions league. I personally don't think you will do as good as you think you will. Also thanks for Gradel, 200k for a player now worth 5-7mil, THAT'S A BARGAIN not 1.5 mil for an average keeper.
