two dives equal 1 penalty and 1 red card. They are trying to cheat their way to gold. Even the crowd are booing them.
But they are the biggest cheats in world football. People would be going ballistic if they did that against England or GB.
That was the only time I can ever remember someone getting done for diving. Great job by FIFA on being consistant!
Brazil have always wowed people with their wonderful tricks, skill, goals and attacking flair, and this new generation of players look to be bringing that back. Unfortunately Brazil are also known as one of the world's dirtiest teams with elbows, blocks, cynical fouls, cheating and diving. Just like Argentina and Uruguay. They're a team you can love and hate in equal measure!!
I have never truly believed the hype about Brazil and thought Pele was good in his time Modern day Brazil are I agree dirty
Yep, can't stand Brazil on the basis of their Oscar-winning performances in the Olympics. The numbers of fake Brazilians at SJP irritate me even more. I hope S Korea stuff them.
You have to admit that was Oscar worthy. I genuinely thought it was worthy of a red card (to the Turkish player) for the sheer ingeniuous acting
I hate anyone who cheats, that why I didnt want us to sign Johnson. Brazil now rank alongside Uruguay in how to play the ugly game, a few flicks on fix all the cheating that goes on. Id rather watch SK.
The European game championed by Spain and at club level by Barca albeit a little boring to watch is of course the football of our times. Brazilian football will need to reinvent to compete in the future... But they will always produce brilliant players because of their absolute passion for football. IMO with the money shifting down the Americans and east from us then football is bound to change again and again.... One thing is for sure the days of the target man are numbered flyer
