Wickham 4 to 6 weeks Ji dropped because of poor fitness What could be next, Bendtner injured this weekend maybe
I thought you were going to ask if we had that feeling we would be watching 4-5-1 again in the near future... I had that feeling the day Gyan was loaned out. Infact I had that feeling as soon as Bruce let Mensah and Muntari leave and never sold Gyan as I had a gut feeling it would disrupt Gyan. Not sure if that is the reason why Gyan was awful this season, difficult to say...
Or maybe, Bendy plays a blinder, Ji comes back and scores and Wickham cant get back in becuase of our new strike partnership. We beat Fulham then Wigan, draw at Wolves then stuff Blackburn. Make 2 or 3 fantastic buys in January, go on a run and end up 8th. There, that feels better, dont like my negative head, realism is far nicer.
also anyone seen Bendtner has said he wants Champs League football next season Brucie needs to be searching now we need 2 maybe 3 strikers in the next 2 transfer windows
Cheers Billy, bit of a bastard that like. Seems like we are always chasing a striker while other teams seem to keep them alright. Never mind I enjoy the speculation and tension of it all really. Being permanently linked to Robbie "I supported ....... as a boy" Keane always makes me laugh
Can't really blame him for using us as a stepping stone. He was stagnating at the Arse. He's starting to thrive under us. If some champo league clubs come in for him I have no doubt he'll be off.
Good player Bendtner, this is the problem with loans, they are temporary (stating the obvious?) If you get a player in who does well, he's always going to be offsies to a bigger team when the loan runs out. I expect to see Bendtner in the Champions League playing for a team abroad next season. Tp the OP, IMO you are one injury away from the return of the 4-6-0 formation, if Bendy stays fit I can see him getting you an extra 10-12 points this season from what you would get without him.
