I've been before but will likely accompany my son and grandsons. Never too early to give them the baptism of freeflow exhausts vibrating bits of your insides!

    I wish.

Do you have to book in advance?

I'd have thought it always sells out. We've only ever bought tickets well in advance. GO ask!! Same for the 'Revival' - go buy now......

Berg, sadly no, I'm not going but fully intend to next year, may even go on the bike, it appears to be a fabulous event. Hope you enjoy.

Put your pics in an album on your profile page, and I'll see you there next year.

Make sure you get your grandsons into the magic of the internal combustion engine exhaust sounds.

They (5 and nearly 4 ) don't seem too bothered yet, sadly. However one of my daughters' son (5) has always loved buses, coaches trains etc. Gradually starting to enjoy steam trains. Great. Already loves Didcot ( GWR yard) and been to York twice. Got to bring them up to enjoy mechanics.

Sounds like you're bringing them up proper, Bergy. Top man.

No doubt about it. It is a fabulous event. You'd be in your element Ernie.

Cosi, I am going next year, can't go this year because of work projects, but next year, as you know I retire soon and things will ease a little and I will be in charge of my own destiny, will see you there.

I am easily recognisable, a lone figure with a black peak cap surrounded by men with white coats.

cosicave - we are going on the Saturday - you might spot me - 60 odd, grey trimmed beard possibly dribbling over parked cars (or even scantily dressed fillies) with good looking son and 2 little horrors. What are you doing - driving anything?

Hahaha… sounds great Bergy, especially if the weather is up to scratch for the fillies! See PM (to follow).

Congratulations on your retirement Ernie. Even though you intend to keep going, I think it is an important milestone.

    Top Geezer. Congratulations.

Unfortunately I will be in Scotland doing some wild camping somewhere, so it'll have to wait till next year for me.

How do I add an embedded photo? - I can see urls - links for videos, but is it a space saving issue?
