Interesting to see Mcleans twitter posts showing the squad flying to Cardiff, then taking coach to the overnight stop in an 'otel, (which didn't look like a £19 offer at Travelodge).

So it must have cost a fair old bit of money that, for a party of what 20, 25 people, all to save a few hours on a coach.

Maybe this is one of the ways in which we don't see the Allams supporting Bruce this season.

It also seems at odds with some of the reports about penny pinching that hacked N Pearson off, and lack of funds for Barmby.

Bet Bruce will be sticking his cock in the Allams ears pestering about training facilities as well. He looks to be trying to kit us out into an all round more professional outfit.

The Allam's wouldn't let the players fly when Nick was in charge, they had to go to all games by coach.

    It pissed Nick off.

Bruce seems to be getting his own way on pretty much everything.

Bruce is clearly a better manager and better at managing in all respects than the previous couple we had. To get respect you have to earn it, he's clearly done that with the Allams and its paying off, both for him and us.

Actually, they think signing his own son was a piss take and had a massive row with him about it, but he still seems to be getting his own way.

The Allams certainly arent the fools people on here tried to make out they were.

Bit of reverse psychology here but there was/is a feeling that SB leaves a club asap if a better offer comes in. Then the Allams allowing him to sign his son is a bloody good way of keeping him here.

My theory is still they want the best for the club, are prepared to finance that, and are 100% supporting a manager who reciprocates that commitment. Took them a while but we're reaping the benefits now for sure.

Would have thought Allam Sen. might have approved of 'keeping it in the family' ( doesn't he employ his own son in some capacity........? ) but you never know.

there is no loyalty in football.. I was surprised that there was any nepotism from Beryl.
I cant see it going the other way and Jr quitting out of sympathy.

Thanks for offer, but I'm well aware of his address.

Do you want me to find you the address of a school, so you can try and learn to write?

Quite a lot of people know where Nick lives, on a normal street, surrounded by normal people

I liked Nicky Barmby and was happy when he got appointed, but truth be said he struggled with the job.

Hull City legend no one can doubt that Hull City is at the cente of Barmbys heart but Steve Bruce and even Nigel Pearson are better managers.

The gaffer of the company I work for (Who has been involved with city for a number of years) was offered the chance to fly with the team, get a coach transfer to the hotel and fly back with the lads for about £400 So I guess the Allams may be getting some money back from them sort of deals.
