This summer seems to have dragged on for ages! After all the doom and gloom of the past 6 months it'll be good to have a result to check/game to go to every Saturday. And ferk it I'm going to say it... I'm optimistic.

Despite the fact I will miss the first two games due to work I am looking forward to seeing the new lads in action. Back to back wins kick off the season! COYG!

Hitchcock has said he expects us to be pushing for promotion towards the top of the table (wouldn't expect much else from a player), but nice to hear nonetheless.

yes the shrews are buzzing as well, i think a narrow home win of 2-0. the nearest pub is the brooklands, meole brace. away supporters are housed behind one of the goal posts in the north stand. do try jennys pies they are delicious.

a word of warning do not stand too close to the goal netting, as our 4 strikers have lorimer tendencies, and we would not wish to see any goal netting whiplash injuries to any one!

a38, m5, m54. a5 and follow the signs. enjoy yourselves

Strewth, 24 hours from euphoria and expectation to becoming suicidal Syd once again. The league kicks off this Saturday. We will kick off with all of the rest of the teams in this league. We will have a full team out on the pitch. They could be anything from almost Barca to Real **** but we will be there. Given where we were not so long ago that isn't half bad in itself. Lets just worry about the football now and forget all the other stuff until a fat lady somewhere starts warming up again. No more suicidal Syd and lots more happy Horrace.
