Lets hope so. I'm not as optimistic as you. I can see Leicester sneaking un just in front of us. I live in hope though.

No, but as you mention it. The playoff final is the Sunday. The advance tickets for the week upto and including that day are due to go on sale on Thursday 4th March, with tickets for the Monday going on sale a week later on the 11th.

If anyone is wanting to make the gamble you'll be able to do it for about £10 e/w on those dates but you need to be quick. I'd say the East Coast website is the easiest to use (and you get 10% off) but that's for me in Scotland. Going from Hull you might be able to get something better from Hull trains but it'll be at the same time.

Also advisable if you're gambling is to book a hotel early. Last time round I was in America for the last game of the season and the 1st leg of the playoffs. I checked the results and as we were 2-0 up after the away leg I booked my train tickets and hotel then. I got a hotel right next to Wembley at the normal rate (about £40 a night). Once we'd won the 2nd leg and the fixture for the Final was confirmed the same rooms went up to 'event night' prices which were more than double.

Although reaching the playoff would be great i would rather stay out of the prem until next season, allowing the squad the grow stonger and with a few more quality signings at the right price! Players now want to come to play for city , HAPPY DAYS<laugh><laugh>

Play off final is on a Monday. Div 1 and Div2 are being played at Old Trafford.Because of European Cup Final being at Wembley on Saturday evening.

What is the date of the play off final? I have to earn a lot of Brownie points first. Actually, Brownie points are hard to come by at present. I hope they stay the same next Saturday.

That's fine but what date is it? Or are you keeping it a secret so you can get all 22000 tickets for your friends?

It's the Bank Holiday Monday at the end of May. It's about the 30th.
