So... Jimmy Bullard has stated he would be happy to come back to Ipswich http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18718&title=bullard:_town_return_would_make_me_very_happy Personally I would view this as him whoring himself about willing to get any offer he can. I think we would all love him back on sensible wages and a short contract but I fancy this will run and run, which is probably best for us as we could get him on another season long loan.
Happy to come back to Ipswich, or go to Norwich or largely anywhere else that will pay his salary. Principals versus Need argument for me this. Would love to have him next season but he hasn't done himself any favours with the whoring about you refer to KOPR.
I'm sure JB could negotiate even a half million pound payoff and then he is free to do as he chooses. He says its not all about money but i'm afraid he is fooling himself and his actions are proving that, in fact, it is all about money!!!
If he signs, it needs to be on our terms not his. He has done himself no favours in his actions during the past few weeks but would really be a huge boost for ticket sales if he did sign.
Hey hey hey. You're all jumping the gun on this. Why would he move at the beginning of June and accept the worst offer? I have got no doubt he wants to be playing and I've got no doubt he wants to play for Ipswich - he proved that on the pitch. The Norwich thing was one comment he made after a question about moving there and he kept his options open. I wouldn't be reading anything into anything until the transfer window closes. For all we know he has an understanding with Jewell and they're trying to get Hull to pay up as much as possible.
After watching him give that interview on soccer am I don't want that money grabbing twat anywhere near our club again!
Might be worth getting if you can on a rolling contract. He could be the difference to push you 4, 5 or 6 places higher in the league next season
Would love to see him back next season but must be on our terms . He was the quality we were missing last year and when he wasn't in the team we looked v poor
It was certainly a cracking goal he scored against us! If he can keep fit and is reasonable about his wage demands, I'd say go for it
Dave lend you a tenner! He won't even divvy out his malt! If I've said it once I've said it a 100 times Dave's a good bloke but he's tighter than a Nun's Fanny!
jb will only join itfc if no one else comes up with the money he wants as good a player he is like most of the players money comes first he and the rest of them all play to the higest bidder thats why we and many more clubs cant get quality players so its back to the drawing board now lets see who else is avaiable ????????????????????????????????????
There's no chance of you getting him. You (quite rightly) won't pay his wages, whilst he could stay with us and we'd have to fork out £45,000 a week.
