Goof video NP. I used to pay to watch this city team, and it was a low time in my life! Soccer Sunday, dire coverage and commentary...remember Roger Malone? Turf was similar to a slag heap green, empty ground, freezing my huge bollocks off! I often listen to Jason Perry commentating on Radio Wales, thinking he was crap in his day, but sounding out where the modern team is going wrong! Makes you realise how far we have come! Thank Fug! Thank the Lord!
Didn’t Roger Malone do the wurzel games and Bob Symonds do the welsh ones? The commentary on this “classic” was Rob King who I see walking from Llandaff to each home game.
Can't remember that game at all Nin - but I do remember the people involved. Big Eddie May, Kev Ratcliffe, the Kumars and on the playing front Carl Dale was a later Tony Evans and an early Chopra. As far as the football is concerned, I thought we were bad at the moment...............
Roger Malone definitely did the West coverage, but that’s often what we had. Bob Symonds was ours, but I can’t remember Rob King doing it though! Bit limp wristed commentary from the man from Llandaff! Have to say I live in Llandaff, where normally men are men and....hmmm you know!
