The Ludogorets Vs Steau Bucharest game has gone to penalties.

Ludogorets equalised on aggregate in the 89th minute.

Their keeper was then sent off in the 118th minute.

Steau won the coin toss but let their opponents take the penalty first.

Ludogorets sent their keeper up first for the penalty.

Now they're just copying each other in terms of goals/saves.

Amazing stuff.

It's silly having a linesman stood on one side of the goal and one of those behind the goal officials stood at the other side. What's the point in that?

Edit - especially as neither of them are actually keeping the keepers on their line.

Centre half in goal saves a penalty and wins tie

 

Well done to the Bulgarian side. Their centre half has saved two penalties and sent them through.

I just watched the pens he saved and there is no way the saves should have stood, he was about 5 yards off his line! Great story though and I'm glad the large team of refs were incompetent.

 

Happens all the time now.

It's like foul throws, they happen all the time, but nobody seems to care.
