Has anybody got the latest news on Eden Hazard to Chelsea? Sources close to Lille believe that Hazard has provisionally agreed terms with Chelsea and Chelsea have acted quickly to secure Hazard's signature for the deal to be done this transfer week because Real Madrid moved in for him.

Don't know what to believe. Any more info will be great.

Just Imagine this Chelsea team if this Hazard story is true.

    --------------Cech------------
    Ivanovic---Cahill---Terry---Cole
    --------Ramires---Essien-------
    -Hazard-----Mata---Sturridge--
    ------------Torres------------

Subs: Turnbull, Bosingwa, David Luiz, Romeu, Lampard, Malouda, Drogba.

Here's a new article I found of all the transfer news round up: http://www.thehardtackle.com/2012/t...-liverpool-tevez-to-psg-michel-vorm-and-more/

I'd be very surprised if he left this window. Lille have said many times that it is possible they will have to sell him, but it will be under their own terms. I can't see them risking european qualification at this stage, as come the summer replacements may not want to join them.

But, I do think it is a real possibility that he will join you in the summer. I can only see him going to three clubs, those being Madrid, City (who are in dire need of another attacking midfielder given their dependence on Silva and how average Nasri is) and yourselves (providing you finish in the top four). I'd love to see him and Mata working together, that would be something special.

Rather not have him, aint all that in my opinion, hardly shown anything in CL matches, and the French league is ****, rather have Di Maria who we was linked with

Some of our best players have been bought from or through the French league.

Granted drogs but a lot of players coming from the french league have also been **** aswell, 50-50 risk and £30mill for a unproved player with POTENTIAL is stupid, should wait untill he does something of note against a decent quality team and then we can judge, Di Marias proved himself vs big teams countless times and is also v.good for Argentina

I'd say more have been good than bad! (off the top of my head). You have to gamble, the guy's very very young and whenever I've seen him play I've been very impressed. Di Maria will cost £38m and another 150k a week plus he dives more than Tom Daley and has an Ego the size of Spain = no thanks.

If he's AVBs' choice I'm happy to go for Hazard. He's been a very good judge of player so far. We are starting to see the bones of AVBs' side now, both those selected and those left out are showing us the way he's headed.
For what it's worth, I can see us leaving out Lamps, Malouda, Drogba in the short term, and Cole, Terry, Boswinga and Cech in the long term. Long term meaning from the middle of next season. Will be interesting to see who he has in mind as replacements along the back line. With Cahill now here, assuming he stacks up, I think we might finally see some of our academy players start to come through, as Sturridge has done up front. The odd game to start then more of a run. Interesting times indeed.

It was a big step up for AVB - To go from the Portuguese League to the English League and i think his done a tremendous job so far, his made a few mistakes ( wrong subs and high line ) but his quickly learned from his errors and were improving every single game, and his realised who we need and who we don't need and what to do and what not to do and if we have a good run in the CL and Fa Cup and can get Top 4 then it's a very successful first season especially as his creating his own team and style in the middle of all of this. The future looks bright
