Wonder why Cairney was Dropped? I say Dropped because my mate was sat next to him at leeds, And said to him " you should of brought your boots Tom" presuming he was injured. His reply " i did" Didnt he have a good game against Ipswich? I like NP but cant help but think hes dropped a major tactical clanger in this game. Dawson Against Snodgrass? whos probably the best RM in this league. Surely you play Dudgeon against him who has the legs still, and has been playing well. Weve just ended a 20 year record to beat an Ipswich team who alot rated highly pre-season yet NP goes and tinkers with the team.
Pretty sure Tom didn't play due to the death of his mother. Understandably, he won't have been in the correct frame of mind.
Injury apparently- think HDM said it's a slight groin strain. As i said before on another post i dunno the ins and outs.
Apologies didnt see the other threads guys couldnt see a Cairney titled one Fair play if its death of his mother, But apparntly definatly wasnt injured. Hope hes back for Palace game.
Wasn't his mum that died! Was his grandad, he played for scotland and scored that day! And he was injured!
Heard injury wise he should be ok for Saturday, obviously with a bereavment we'll have to wait till Tom is in the right frame of mind which will hopefully be Saturday.
