I used to support all English teams when I was younger as I am quite patriotic. It's difficult as a number of my close friends are United fans and usualy they don't bait me too much - sort of an agreement we just leave the bashing for when we are not in the same room (lol). The deciding factor for me was when I witnessed a load of them cheering on every team we played in 2005 and 2007. All sitting in the pub cheering away, making their comments; and of course recently where even my close friends have got on the act. Won't forget it, now I say **** them. Come on Barca. Unlike some people though, cough Lineker, I do think they have a decent chance in the game. Wouldn't surprise me if they won, as much as I don't want them to.

I don't really dislike United the club so much as the fans. A lot of them (granted, there are exceptions) who I grew up around are the sort who know little about football and just support the team that happens to be the best at the time. That, and they're second only to Leeds fans in their hatred for every other club.
I actualy thought United started realy well last time, without getting through. It was one of those days when fergie forgot to take his pills and instead put Rooney on wing. Barca did them everntualy. Would of loved to have seen Neville's face!

I will be supporting Barcelona because like most supporters my age, all my Man Utd friends only started supporting them when they started winning things the glory hunting bastards. How long before they start supporting City.... But, I've also taken advantage of Paddy Power refunding all correct score bets if Barca win so I've money all draws and United winning up to 3-3 and then a few bob on united scoring 4 or more just to be extra safe. Barca win = happy, get my money back United win = sad, make some money though
