Not yet, but I will be when some mug buys my shirt. Not being a memorabilia buff, how rare is it? Is it something that would be suited to a Hull City museum?
Believed to have been worn by a player, but never been worn? Oh definitely genuine then and worth 600 quid lol.
It's not as rare as the home and away 1978 shirts I sold via these pages a couple of years ago - the collector told me he only knew of 1 other in existence. If this goes for £600 I've been done at £700 the pair.
Shirts?! Take a look at these programme prices realised in an auction yesterday. The most expensive City programmes ever? "HULL v CHELSEA 4-Page card programme 10 Feb 1906, Chelsea's 1st season, fold. Fair-generally good £2,500 HULL v CHELSEA 4-Page card programme 25 Dec 1906, two minor tears across the base, vertical fold. Fair-generally good £1,500"
Anyone got any idea how much an original Adidas 80/81 (?) shirt is worth? I'm not certain of the year, but I bought it from the club after Keith Edwards threw his shirt at the dug out one home game about that time (can anyone help when that was). I said I'd buy a season ticket even though I lived down south if they'd sell me the shirt. Whether it is his or not I'm not sure, but certainly a number 9 and tight-fitting enough for Keith. Too small for me or my son. I suspect it's quite rare? Attracted quite a lot of attention when he wore it to a Brentford away game a few years ago.
If you could prove beyond doubt the provenance, it would be worth more- but I doubt even KE himself could vouch for it. I'll take a wild guess and say £100. Anyone else?
No. Why did he kick over the physio's bucket in anger? Just had a look at the shirt. It's Adidas, twin thick stripes, with an actual collar in black. Adidas number 9 on the back.
