    Afternoon all.

Does anyone know what's happening here? Will he officially sign for us in January now? Is he training with the first team in the meantime or has he gone back to Lens?

Is he available for reserves games?

Had high hopes for him, so gutted FIFA blocked the move. And actually feeling really sorry for him as presumably he isn't allowed to compete in any games for any club, until this is sorted out...?

    D. Situ replaced in Swansea City.
As he left the RC Lens for Swansea City in the last hours of the summer transfer window, Darnel Situ still can not move in his new team. FIFA has in fact refused to accept the transfer of the young central defender due to a delay in concluding the final details of the transaction. Meanwhile, the English club has found his replacement before possibly hope to complete the transaction this winter. After a successful trial, the Greek Vangelis Moras International, a free agent, has committed to three months for the Swans

Hrm. I guess that means he'll be available in January....although it doesn't really say where he actually is atm...hope he's keeping fit and the £250k deal means he is officially a Swansea player.

I think it'll go through in January. If they want him enough to sign him, they'll still be after him, he's only young isn't he? Good prospect.

Looks like we will be over run with defenders come January...

**Again translated from a Frog paper**

    Halliche to Championship ?
Forced into inactivity since the failure of its loan to Swansea City this summer, Rafik Halliche chomping at the bit on the side of Fulham. In order to keep a certain rhythm before joining the Welsh club this winter, the Algerian international defender could be loaned to Championship a few weeks, the English law authorizing transfers of short duration. According to the scorer who relays information, Brighton, Burnley and Hull City are interested in Fennec.

Fingers crossed we get our man this January as he seems a potential cracker for holding midfield/defence and 'low risk'. It's not like they haven't had the time to get the paper work right this time.

If they cannot get him after 4 months, then the brown stuff should really hit the fan for whoever is responsible for arranging the transfers/contracts etc. We would be a laughing stock.

Well the Swans kitman just tweeted a picture of Situ saying he'd just beaten him twice in the crossbar challenge! Guess that means he's our player...

Talking of which and because I'm too lazy to check, has anyone heard from Ryan ' I am good enough to walk into the Swansea Premier League team' Harley??

It seemed like a short sighted, easy profit at the time...bad business to me!

I suspect the board ****ed up there but I would gladly be proved wrong on this!

He's getting games, but Brighton are falling away a bit at the moment. They're kinda like us, promotion would probably be too early for them this year (but they'd take it!) but give it a year or two and they'll be pushing hard for the Premiership.
