I've done a few Great North Runs in my time, and they left me cream crackered. Just don't know how the people keep going for so long. How the winners run that hard for that long is beyond me, I take my hat off to them. Shame about the young lady that died near the finish line - worthy of £5 donation of anyones money. Mines in.
