I'm off to see South Shields at Wembley on the 21st in the FA Vase final against the mighty Cleethorpes. Anyone else going? My Uncle Don is a lifelong fan and never had any time for SAFC or NUFC, so he'll be there with a couple of cousins to watch Julio Arca and the boys. Should be a laugh and they can't do any worse than The Lads have this season...
I'm going, Sid I was at Hartlepool last night to see 'us' winning our second trophy of the season . . . . The Durham Challenge Cup after we beat Billingham Synthonia (The Sinners) 2-0 It was pretty boring (one-sided) and Hoolioooooooooo was suspended, but we still enjoyed the night. The trophy is blinking massive. There must have been more than 1,500 Mariners there and about a dozen Sinners fans We are playing North Shields on Saturday at Whitley Bay's ground in the League Cup final, which, hopefully, will be our third trophy of the season Then Wembley on 21st
That's the 'treble' completed after beating North Shields (The Robins) 5-0 yesterday in the League Cup final . . . . just Wembley to go now. What a great time to be a 'Sheels supporter . . . . which gives me consolation after this 'not so great' season as an S.A.F.C. fan
