Anyone know of any pubs up in Edinburgh that show the games. I'm up there in a few weeks and was hoping of catching the Stoke game.

You'll have to excuse my Mackem friend's lack of replies, they're all in shock at the thought of a lady venturing onto their forum.

I'm sure one will be along soon enough to point you in the direction of a nice establishment that may show the match.

Can't find any on line. It won't be advertised because it's illegal.

I'm in Edinburgh on that weekend, staying at The George hotel.

I've got it on in my room - 207

    Honest.

    Wear something nice.

Tcheukters & Berts Bar on William St in the West End.
That's where I go when in Edinburgh.
Both good pubs - Tcheuchters has an excellent restaurant in the basement too,

Hi @Emily35 - please ignore my cave men counterparts - when I was in Edinburgh a few years ago at the playhouse, Sunderland were on Sky on a Sunday afternoon - there's a pub around 200 yards away which had the game on and showed all sky games.

The nice, caring approach, I like it... untried so far, so worth a shot!
