yeah a point is better than bugger all.
    but I'd rather have a score draw than a 0 - 0.

I was happy with a draw before the game, so I am feeling good.

The game was live on TV here and it certainly wasn't a thriller. Both teams lacked imagination going forward. Huddlestone did well again. Still, I'm happy with our situation at this stage and hope it can be sustained but there's a lot of games left.

A point every game until the end of the season would see us safe.

Not one of our best performances but a good point against a fast Villa team who hardly got a shot on goal. Elmo had his worst game ever in our shirt. Huddlestone was immense.

Was Elmo that bad? I thought he was average, not good by any stretch but not awful.

He was great at getting in to good positions and worked hard. He just hit every cross without looking and his shots were all over the place.
    Needs a better final ball.

    Good point for sure.

Had a feeling we might lose this one.

Had a great day at the KC

There are no negatives in my world

The announcer called him and I quote "The worst crosser of the ball in the Premier League" and pretty much spent the last 25 minutes of the game ripping him. I didn't think he was that bad either, but he did have some pretty poor crosses in the second half.

I think we raise our game against some of the top teams but games like this one are a bit boring. nevertheless with a few out injured it was a good result. Thought we played better when Boyd and Zagbo came on, not that Aluko and Quinn played badly just that it seemed to liven everything up.

Shame we couldn't nick it at the death. We would have lost that game first time around. No grumbling from me about dropped points. One point is most welcome, this considering we had so many key players out and didn't play particularly well.

As we enter the International break in the top 10 with 11 points after 7 games played - if we had said that by this point we would have won 3 drew 2 and lost 2, and only have a -1 GD to boot after games away at Chelsea, Man City and Newcastle before we kicked the season off I am sure we would have all laughed at the thought.
Excellent start, everything ON the pitch going to Brucey's plan - the only let down is all this Hull Tigers lark from Dr Allam.

We lacked composure in the final third.

Villa comfortably the best team seen here this season.

Still only one goal conceded at Fortress KC in four games.

    Back to your ****hole, Villa.

That's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure he's a better crosser than Faye and Damian Delaney.

I would have been happy with 7pts out of 7, so 11pts is fantastic.

Can't really see any negatives after just 7 games !

11 points at this stage is better than most of us would have expected, so let's not get above our station.
Remember , we are playing in the best and strongest league in the world.

Once other teams have sussed us out, we may see a few more dire games before this season is over !
