Just wondering if anyone had heard any news about how close Vaughan is to making a comeback after injury? With Ayala coming back from injury and proving what a good acquisition he is by Lambert I think Vaughan could do the same if he manages to avoid further injury. He is an exciting player and offers options for the team that we will need in the 2nd half of the season as teams will be more prepared for us and our method of play second time around. It would be like a brand new signing coming in just at a time when we need one.
someone mentioned he could be back end of january, early february. if, and it is a big if, he can stay fit, he looks like a terrific player on the very short amount of evidence we have so far
I heard he was set for a January return at the end of last year so who knows he seems to have gone quiet on twitter. Can't wait to see him in action he is rapid apparently (was 3rd in 100M in national schools). A friend of mine who is a crystal palace fan said he really dag deep and dragged them out of some tricky situations last year so that is a really good trait to hear about. Lets hope he can stay fit!!
He is a good player no doubt about it I have huge question marks about his long term fitness though, unfortunately.
