I would like to have the opportunity to use the 3 subs tactically....and not HAVE to replace two injured players nearly every match.
Well that's not encouraging - so the team almost picks itself with Rio back in the ranks for next Mon QUEENS PARK RANGERS R Ferdinand Groin/Pelvis Injury 27th Oct 14 S Ranieri Groin/Pelvis Injury no return date N Onuoha Hamstring Injury no return date R Green Tonsillitis no return date J Mutch Hamstring Injury 1st Nov 14 J Barton Hamstring Injury no return date A Faurlin ACL Knee Injury Jul 15
Barton's hamstring seems to have gone on forever!! Must have been a bad one. No return date for Sandro or Onuoha isn't good.
I hope Ned is fit in particular. He showed again Sunday he is as good at RB as he is CB, and this allowed Isla to play further forward, where with Ned behind him he did really well, much better there than either Phillips or Hoillet for me. I hope Nico is OK too, we missed him Sunday.
I can't help thinking that if Barton had been on the pitch for the Liverpool game, and captain, he would have guided that last free kick safely to the corner. Spilled milk etc but we needed a wise older head on the pitch for that 35 seconds.
Agree Beth - the injuries seems incredible.... maybe we need to to make more signings in our physic team...
I agree, RTID. I was screaming for Traore ,Isla and Suk to be on the halfway line and for Caulker and Dunne to be in their area and win the header. Just about recovered enough to watch it on MOTD2 last night. Shearer et al was saying exactly the same; naïve .
Onuoha looked immense the other day so hope he gets a chance to retain his place. I'm not ITK but I'm pretty sure Sandro's return is due to be between 5 and 85 minutes before his next injury - you heard in here first.
My understanding is that the phrase "no return date" on the Physioroom normally means that the player is due to return?
