The only news I've heard is that Goodwillie, who Dundee has been talking about for a while, looks like joining Blackburn in the next few days.
Another one that looks not to be happening for Town is that Burnley have apparently agreed a fee with Preston for Treacy, who we've been linked with all summer. Who knows, we might get a surprise one of these days and sign a player that we don't know about in advance!
Rumours have run a bit dry lately, although I'm sure things are going on behind the scenes. Reading inbetween the 'who's a bigger club, Millwall or Ipswich' on transfer rumours we are apparently in for Ambrose and Clyne from Palace, still in for James Henry plus Sol Campbell, Jason Koumas and Max Gradel* *Please note these rumours come from bored teenagers on school hols and hold no substance

I would love to see Ambrose back - every bit as good as Jimmy Bullard but playing in a very weak team. The rumour about Gradel is frankly nonsense.
any truth in the one about sol cambel now that would be a great signing well fingers crossed for getting a good centre back any one else heard anything time is creeping on
We're meant to have had a midfielder at he club today discussing terms (Not Bullard) this is coming from reports on Twitter about medicals etc. The general consensus from the ensuing drivel of guesswork and prediction was that is was one of Koumas, Barton or Boyd. I think we can agree Barton is definitely not going to happen and I cant see us signing Boyd so that would leave Koumas...... That is, if any of this talk of a player having a medical today is true.
KoPR - the rumour mill has gone crazy tonight, it's impossible to know what to believe from it all, i have heard about half a dozen names, but it does look as though a name will emerge tomorrow. I would rule out Barton (wages), Bullard (feud with Hull) and Stearman (Mick McCarthy says no way). But even Matthew Upson isn't beyond the realms of possibility, so we will just have to wait and see.
