I know he's 400 years old, but he caused us issues today, and that is against a premiership caliber defence. Maybe we should sign him, and have him threaten other teams like he did to us. He also brings veteran leadership, so it could work out even better, And because he's 400, we could get him pretty cheaply (despite his scoring record), and you know Arsene loves a bargain. Put simply, a win all round.
No offence but I think this article is a teensy bit arrogant. Firstly just because we are a premier league team does not mean that our defence is automatically better than Milan's for example. We do not have any defenders of the calibre of Thiago Silva or Nesta. Secondly Di Natale has always refused to play for top teams out of loyalty to Udinese, even last summer he rejected Juventus despite it appearing that they would challenge for the title again (but they ****ed it up in the end). Even if we go through at their expense I doubt he will move to us.
If he is not on a free transfer or under 18....or from Beveren or French....we can forget him. Thts Arsene's policy these days.
