I was at the game yesterday and once again I thought Ferdinand had a pretty average game but having just watched MOTD I now can see he had a **** game along with Hill.If we carry on with these two at centre back we are surely in for a very difficult season.
I agree. Bassong and Barnett had the game centre backs should. Won everything and stopped us creating anything. I don't rate either Anton or Hill, unfortunately.
I think Hill had a great season last year but he was never going to be as good this year but as for Ferdinand he is a Championship player at best.Looks completely lost at this level.Sunderland probably couldnt believe there luck when we came in for him.
neither looked good yesterday. Just been watching Spurs and the last 5 minutes might make AVB think twice about letting Dawson go. Awful at the back.
Never been an Anton fan to be honest, makes far too many mistakes. I'm reading that Dawson's preferred move is to Sunderland.
I must be the only one who thought that Anton had a decent 2nd half. Considering that he had the Norwich midfielders running at him I thought he did ok. Diakite let our CBs down badly yesterday. Anton actually won several headers against Holt in the second half, something that Hill could not do. He was by no means our worst player. It's easy to slate defenders but many times the problem lies in front of them.
