Anton isn't good enough for the PL, but he does his best, and there's no disgrace in that. He didn't do much wrong today either.
He had a decent game at Newcastle as well. Is getting a bullet sent in the post and a court case which he had very little to do with (mainly CPS) being a disgrace off the field? If, yes, then what the hell is Joey Barton?
100% this. Think Swords is being hard based on today's performance from Anton. Generally our defence is much improved. But midfield, thought to be the strongest element of the squad at the start of the season, is consistently poor. Faurlin isn't yet the player he was pre-injury. Granero's not interested.
Didn't see a good game from Ferdinand today. Looked more like one of the Powder Puff girls than a footballer.
He was crap against Newcastle, and groaned when i saw him in the lineup. I was fully expecting him to be terrible- but he was excellent today! Particularly in the first half, he did practically nothing wrong. Dealt with Lukaku easily.

Very unfair. I don't particularly rate Ferdinand but he played well today. I though he would get beasted by lukaku but held his own well. An excellent clearance in the first half with his chest also. Lay off the man.

He's a limited player who tries his best. Not his fault Colin bought him, not his fault we don't have the depth for him to be the 4th choice he was a Sunderland. No point abusing him (or SWP), they are what they are, effort is not questioned.
