http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-17724861 Thats what hanging around with el hadj diouf does for you.
I saw this... all part of the QPR rollercoaster! What would the run-in be without an extra bit of drama hey??
From the Sun: "" arrests after nightclub ‘glassing’ SOCCER bad boy El Hadji Diouf was yesterday arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after a brawl involving pals of former team-mate Anton Ferdinand. Tempers flared inside a nightclub in the early hours before spilling outside as bouncers moved in. Diouf — believed to have suffered a face wound — was quizzed by police for several hours before being bailed. A friend of Ferdinand is in a “serious” condition in hospital with head and neck injuries thought to have been inflicted with a broken glass or bottle. Diouf, 31, left, had arrived with wife Valerie at the Circle Bar in Manchester city centre at 3am. A source said: “It’s not clear what started the fight but it became very nasty very, very quickly.” Club clash ... police at scene yesterday Zenpix A total of six men were held. QPR defender Ferdinand, 27, was interviewed under caution but not arrested. Bad blood between the players goes back to their Sunderland playing days. In 2009 The Sun revealed Diouf allegedly threatened to “knife” Ferdinand after a bust-up on the pitch. Senegal star Diouf — who had played for Liverpool and Bolton — was then sold to Blackburn. He went to Glasgow Rangers before moving to Championship strugglers Doncaster Rovers. He was not in the side on Saturday when yet another defeat guaranteed relegation. Bad blood ... Anton Ferdinand He has been accused several times of spitting on the pitch at opposing players and even fans. Last year then-QPR manager Neil Warnock accused him of taunting a player writhing on the ground with a broken leg. The Sun From a few weeks ago: Anton Ferdinand Interviewed by the Sunderland Fan Site, The Roker Report, talking about Diouf Exclusive: Anton Ferdinand Talks Bruce, Derbies & Diouf Miami_tiny by ChrisWeatherspoon on Mar 22, 2012 2:00 PM GMT "...There were rumours of a bust-up between yourself and El-Hadji Diouf when you were both at the club. We heard a lot of stories via the tabloid media, and he obviously left the club a few days later, but the story has never really been put straight. I was wondering if you would like to elaborate on that for us? AF: We had a few words. It was frustration between both of us. Both of us had the will to win games and that wasn't happening at the time. He told me something I didn't like, I said stuff he didn't like, and it just went on from there. I'm a winner at the end of the day, I want to win every game I play in. If my teammates around me aren't on the same page then I want to know why. That's the way I am. He wasn't doing something I wanted him to do so I wanted to know why he didn't want to do it. So are you two on speaking terms now? AF: Yeah yeah, if I see him, there's no hard feelings. We're professionals at the end of the day - these things happen. It isn't the first time and it won't be the last time that something like that happens in the changing room. If I see El-Hadji, I'll say "hello," and we keep it moving..." http://www.rokerreport.com/2012/3/22/289....e-derbies-diouf ""

Im pretty sure he would have been on the other side trying to deck Diouf. "The two were previously team-mates at Sunderland but Diouf was abruptly sold to Blackburn for £2 million in January 2009 after reportedly threatening to stab Ferdinand with a knife following a fight at the training ground. "
Won't do much for his credibility as a witness at the race hate trial of the century, coming up whenever the FA and legal system think it suits Chelsea. The fact that he went to Manchester to go to a club when he could have been in London I mean. Having a pop at Diouf is clearly to his credit.
That case is guaranteed to be dropped without a shadow of a doubt ... its all showbiz ... The masons have this stitched up and Terry will lead the English to the Euro's after being made a hero. This is all too fishy without doubt . The FA want QPR out and will do everything they can before now and the end of the season
He's obviously had a very bad season with us then. Hopefully he will be kicking up a storm for the run in to make sure his teammates "are on the same page"
Hes clearly not the whiter than white character that was painted after the Terry incident. There was obviously a pair of morons in that clash that day back in October.
he was only interviewed, not involved, it was his friends that were in the fight so they just questioned him
What's the problem? There was some trouble. 6 blokes were arrested - including Rat Boy. Anton was NOT arrested but was interviewed under caution. (ie This is serious. What did you see. Tell the truth or you could be in trouble at a later date.) After interviews the 6 were all released. Anton left of his own accord once interviewed. One of those arrested was released without conditions. The other five (including Rat Boy) were bailed - with conditions - pending further enquiries and possible charges. Anton has done nothing wrong.
The F.A. may be unable to act without F.I.F.A.âs blessing over desperately needed goal line technology and are too scared of Sir Alex Ferguson to do anything about cheating Ashley Youngâs pathetic diving, but surely they can kick this repugnant man out of English football? I assume, as he is Senegalese, that he possesses a French passport and therefore the F.A. canât just withdraw his work permit, but there must be some provision in the rules to enable them to kick him out of our leagues, a âfit and proper playerâ clause if you like. His litany of disgraceful behaviour before this incident includes spiting at both opposition players and supporters, threatening to stab his then team mate Anton Ferdinand when both were at Sunderland, racially abusing a ball boy and, of course, verbally abusing Jamie Mackie he lay on the pitch with a double fracture of his leg. I canât believe that any true football fan in this country feels anything but contempt for this loathsome man. So are the F.A. going to sit and watch while the standard that they are supposed to uphold drop to an all time low? It is time for them to stand up and show that they have some balls. Kick him out. Failing that I call upon all the Chairman, Directors of Football and Managers of clubs in this country not to sign this thoroughly vile, repulsive and hateful pariah.
Don't be silly Roller, the FA are too busy ensuring decent hard-working pros get suspended for ludicrous reasons whilst pricks such as Diouf scrape the bottom of the barrel and laugh all the way to the bank...
