And he would have strengthened that left-midfield spot where we don't have too much cover. But now he is being noticed he would no longer want to play second fiddle to Jackson. Why do you think we could have got him cheaply in the summer? He had a good season last year as well.
If they wanted more than 500k for Magnus, I assume they would have held out for a lot more for wordsworth. That said, he is a very good player and one that came through our academy me thinks. Got released quite young.
