He can play either wing, behind strikers or if needed up front! The bloke is a class act and as you say he's a "lambert signing". I dont like how news now are saying whittingham is our number one priority after losing out on snodgrass, i would have pilkington anyday...
I did hear the term "best player in the football league" banded around last year pre-Injury. He has a great attitude and as long as his injury isn't some long term massive thing I see no problem with trying to get him in. Hudds will want a few quid for him but they must be more professional than Barry fry...
Been Huddersfield's best player under Clarkie, but this is two divisions higher than Huddersfield have been player at, so hopefully he will do well (as long as its not at Newcastle's expense).

Just saw on sky sports that leicester are also looking to sign him. With the money they've got we may be outpriced by leicester. However im sure Pilkington would want to be playing in the premier league next season rather than the championship. Can only see him coming to us if he doesnt care about his salary.
Well, the official club statement did say he wants to play at the highest level, immediatly! The problem is, money. Does he actually want to play at the highest level or does he want that extra bit of cash come the end of the month. Me personally, i am not convinced we will see him in a norwich shirt!
According to the mirror, pilkington has been in norwich over the weekend for a major check of his injury and is set to complete a move to us... My fingers are crossed!
