well he was well and truly beaten!! However. I got offered 6/1 on him... so I placed a fiver and then put £2 on Ruiz with another bookie... at 28/1. Nice little £51 profit thank you v much
Looked well off the boil in recent fights. The loss was always coming. Hopefully he regains the fire that made him such a **** to go up against before the became a multi champion.
One of my mates cleaned up on it, please log in to view this image He's always been overrated imo. Like Disco has said that defeat had been coming. Fury is our truly great boxer, not AJ. First time he's fought abroad and he's been well and truly dismantled.
He’s just “likeable” isn’t he and that’s where all the support comes from and the love in. Nice fella. Ok fighter but nowhere near Whyte or Fury imo. Fury isn’t a nice bloke but he’s a great boxer. As for that bet... holy **** man!!
It's difficult to see what Joshua has planned unless you know what you're looking for. Think about it people. AJ couldn't get anyone to fight him at Wembley. He offered Whyte £5m plus pay per view money: turned down. He has been chasing Wilder for years: turned down. This defeat will have ALL of the fighters thinking Joshua is a soft touch now. Joshua will destroy Ruiz, Wilder, Fury and Whyte in future bouts. You're welcome
Fury will take him easily as will Wilder. Not sure exactly where you get that he will destroy them - Ruiz just schooled him - it wasn't "one lucky punch" he out fought him and Joshua couldn't handle his hand speed. That was with a fighter - with a boxer like Fury he will struggle to get close. Everyone said he'd destroy Ruiz before Sunday's fight! That ended well didn't it
It's undeniable that AJ totally overlooked Ruiz but he's made a mistake and will feel less pressure going forward as his undefeated record is gone.
Over confidence. It seemed to me that he was believing his own publicity that he was invincible. Dangerous in any sport, possibly fatal in Heavyweight boxing where one lucky punch can change everything. (Not that this one was lucky, just an unexpected performance). The Heavyweight Division in particular is littered with this kind of upset from John L Sullivan v James J Corbett onwards. AJ might be well advised to pack up his tent and disappear into the sunset, retire with his savings and enjoy a comfortable life which anyone who has been brave enough to enter into the sport deserves.
All opinions mate but it could easily work the other way. Everyone thought he'd win this time and will no doubt, if a rematch happens, think the same and all the pressure will be on him. Boxers have retiured undefeated so that should put less pressure on you - particularly against Ruiz the size he is. Fit and Fat - that's the way forward... I said at the start of the year, when I go on holiday I want to have a body like the heavyweight champion... Much easier now!!!
What on earth can be suspicious about a fat, unfit tub of lard, landing a haymaker on a very good fit boxer and then proceeding to school him in the 'art' of thumping several kinds of siht out of him
