A very interesting signing as I thought we could well have signed him in the summer. A really tough and experienced midfielder though we do look as if we are already pretty strong there (I would have thought a winger was a more urgent priority) - I hope this does not mean that Woods is off. He seemed to be all over the pitch for ninety minutes yesterday and Leicester had no answer to him.

Could mean we are looking at 3-5-2 or 4-5-2 with a defensive central midfield WTO protect goal whilst others attack.

I wonder how long before the ref spots 4-5-2......some are so bad I think we'd get away with it!
Last night at Burton (great result, Harry!) the ref over-ruled his linesman (assistant?) twice.....it took place in front of us and both times he was wrong! What's the point? If his (or eventually her) autocracy is such that they ruin the game surely there will be court cases.

Sharps was very solid and SCS is brilliant right now, reading the game was awesome. Their winger, Harness, who came through the ranks is going to be great.....skill with good head for the state of the game. Fans calling for McGurk to be taken off then he scores from the free kick.
Zamora was useless, a giant defender (Taft) was faster than Wright-Phillips and Tarabt had skill but no end product. Dunne has passed his use by date, gave away the free kick for the goal and has no touch now. Great result for Burton but QPR didn't really look as if they wanted to be there and theor fans were quiet.
I post this because I feel Burton could challenge our dominance of this league and I only live 10 miles away so can get to the Pirelli easier than The Meadow!

Oops, meant 433!! Yes it looks like Burton are real contenders this season. Sheriff and Sharps still doing a great job, one of the mistakes GT did.
