Just remembered about him, he wasn't the best player for us when he had a season long loan but he's turned into one hell of a player, what do people think? I don't know about his contract details at Saaaafend, but I think in this instance the only way ISN'T Essex, I reckon he'd love it back here.

Seen him on the football league show a few times and he's electric now.

Grant has cooled down a lot according to Southend fans. It was also noticeable that he didn't celebrate his goal at Adams Park on the final day. In my opinion he would be an excellent signing.

I'd happily have him back at Adams Park. You would have thought he'd like the move to League 1 also.
Guess it all depends on whether he is still under contract as we aren't likely to be spending any big bucks this year.

I think when he was with WW, he thought he was a bit too good and could be lazy and disinterested. He never bothered with the fans on the touchline during warm-ups the way others did. Perhaps leaving Chelski and a season with Southend means he has put his head down, realised he hasn't actually done anything yet and grown up. If so he would be a good addition.

Any more news on where Grant might be playing next season? He is class, and would be a great addition to Wycombe; he seems to have matured a lot since he was on loan with us, big respect to him on how he acted when he scored against us on the last day of the season.

I'm sure he would probably jump at the chance of League 1 football, but as he's contracted for another year it would take a fee to prise him away from Southend.
Not sure if Wadd has any transfer market cash in the budget or will just be dealing in free transfers / loans (which is more likely).
Shame really, as when you look back at the M O'n days we were spending quite big bucks on players like McGavin etc. Surprised Crawley haven't snapped him up yet!
