He's an arrogant little sh*t, perfect for Chelsea! After all, you wouldn't want them managed by someone who was likeable would you?
It'll all end in tears; his squad are aging and he's getting younger every day. Red shift, space in between can't be bridged. Early exit CL, upper mid-table finish, just ahead of Arsenal.
It wont be long before he's band for taking a dump in the technical area. Seriously, what is he doing when he's crouching and kneeling in the tech area?? Very strange.
Their manager is younger than the average age of their squad Really cant see why they got rid of Ancellotti for him - he might be a good manager one day, but he still unproven
He'll be fired when they win f*ck all again come May. I just hope we can help him on his way by taking off some points of them this season. Even if we get a draw Ill be so happy but to win........bloody hell, Ill have to take a week of work to celebrate!
If we beat Chelski this season I'd be in serious danger of soiling myself. Imagine being able to stick it to all those fake-shirt wearing plastic glory hunters!!!
You can call me old-fashioned, but soiling yourself and then sticking it on other people's plastic shirts sounds like just the sort of thing that could get you into the wrong sort of company. Divest yourself of these unwholesome notions!
Wow a lot of bitterness on here. Anyway I don't see a lot wrong with him, seems likeable and charismatic, our best managers in recent years have all been young. Football is a young mans game. The managers of arguably the two biggest clubs in world football are both in their 40s (Jose Mourinho and Pepe Guardiola). Not far behind them is Mancini and then of course AVB. Bar Ferguson who Is a dinosaur they are all fairly young.
Don't mind him too much, only mildly annoying thing is that he seems to try and model himself on Jose.
AVB seems a bit of a dick but the real problem there is Terry/Lampard. Those two have more power than the manager so it will always end in tears for whoever it is. Couldn't happen to a nicer team!
Not such a bad appointment. When I think of chelsea, I think stale football club. We've been watching more or less the same team, the same ageing players for years. They ain't going up, they ain't going down. They need someone to spice things up a little....I'm getting sleepy just talking about them....zzzzz....
Can't bring myself to get worked up about him or Chelsea, though I did think their approach against Utd was brilliant, the score very misleading. He's obviously been told to make them play more attractive football, amen to that. Lampard I really can't stand but that's down to ten years of delivering nothing for England.....
They are completely different, the only uncanny resemblance is they are both Portuguese and managed Porto before coming to Chelsea.
Mannerisms seem pretty similar too to me. Also in the interviews I've seen, he seems to have a certain arrogance about him too, maybe I've just seen bad ones.
