    1) Roma have been fined 50,000 euros (£42,400) after racist chants from their fans halted a match at AC Milan. Play in the 0-0 Serie A draw on Sunday was stopped for about two minutes after chants were aimed at Milan's black players from the visiting fans.

    2) Fifa's new anti-racism taskforce wants extra observers at games to specifically monitor racist or discriminatory behaviour. The taskforce, meeting for the first time, has also proposed tougher penalties for clubs whose players, officials or fans are guilty of racism. They include points deductions and elimination from competitions

    Well that's alright then:
    1) petty fines worth a few Euros per fan;
    2) new weak ineffective officials (just like the new cardboard cut-out penalty area officials to assist the referee.
    All pretty pathetic really.
