Too many talking points from that game, norwich played well in the 1st half but our finishing in the second half was dire, the amount of chances we created. Our defence has shown once again that we need a centre back, don't know how long sagna is out for but coquelin looked good going forward anyway. Glimpses of just how good a player gervinho is. But once again typical arsenal.

We give ourselves alot to do and then we do it and as soon as we scored i don't think any fan thought that would be last goal of the game. Our problem is we can't shut up shop so when we do go in front the players should be smart enough to slow the game down and keep the ball but too many got caught up in the emotion of the match. For rvp's 2 goals had this game been a month ago he would have had 4 easily and then the referee had a shocker on all accounts.

This game was a one off and we have to just forget about it and look to tomorrows games, whats everyone else's view???

My view is that we need to get behind the Munich side. <ok>

I don't mind them kicking lumps out of each other as that's honest thuggery (a la Stoke), but I detest snidey players like 90% of Norwich today or Parker of the spuds every time he plays.

True. I didnt see alot of "Parker" in the norwich side. But thats how they play. We knew they are mugs <ok>

On Parker - what a disgrace that lad is. If Roy has an ounce of intelligence he will leave parker behind when england go to the euros

    Excuses, excuses.

I don't know how you can blame Norwich for being "snidey"- did you see Benayoun lash out? Should have been a red. Ramsey's tackling was cynical and should have seen two yellows. Did you see Song's push out of nowhere on Holt? No- red-tinted specs as usual.

We were mugged by the ref today (actually both sides were), but considering you should have had two men off by half-time and we should have had two penalties before your two, I think we were worse off. Same old for the big teams, so whatever, but at least give us some ****ing credit for playing out of our skins. Don't blame it on "cheating"- I saw some time wasting, but find me a team that wouldn't try to slow the game down when they are winning against a team technically much better?

    Sour grapes.

And as for us being "mugs"- not sure what you're talking about. Holt dived and got deservedly booked in our game at Carrow Road and you won fair and square so I don't know what all your blubbing is about

Good to see Arsene Wenger isn't being bitter. Actually had some nice things to say about us. Maybe take a leaf out of your manager's book.

many managers know how to take on the shambolic Wenger style. Loads of pro fouls, windups, time-wasters, and yes valiant hard work.
It works. Hard work gets rewarded against us. Wenger has learnt nothing in the last 3 seasons....and all I get is me being a plastic and moaner. At least more and more now join me in my criticism of the 'great man'. He was second only to SAF - Now years passed his SELL-BY DATE. Do the decent thing and go.

Why are Norwich mugs? Don't really thing Arsenal can complain about the refereeing in that match can they? I'm sure they got their fair share of decisions

This was a typically laclustre performance by Arsenal once again playing with a casual attitude against a recently promoted side.

Norwich deserved their point and possibly more.

Wenger has no answers anymore and we are going to be in big trouble if RVP leaves.

    Unbelievable.

Well done Norwich, effectice on the counter and should have had a few more.

Our problem in the first half is that for too many crosses we only had RVP in the box. This happens a lot.

Gervinho needs to get more hungry - slows it down too much, and a couple of trimes had teh cnahce to shoot but turned back and passed.

Maybe Norwich were "mugs" in some peoples eyes, but City thumped 6 past them, and having gone a goal up we should have won this comfortably.

So sick of this ****. Gutless performance. Wenger has shown beyond all doubt that he's lost his touch. We can't defend for toffee. HE brought in the players and HE decides the tactics (if any) and HE coaches the defence. Shipping 47 goals is unacceptable. **** off Wenger, thanks for the memories but **** right off

  17. I concur. Almost 8 years of bottlers and dross. Most over rated manager in the history of the game - he just got lucky with who he had when arrived.

Wenger shouldnt go. But I just dont know how hard it is to get a team organised at the back. Surely after so many years he would be making some progress in this critical area. I guess its just the calibre of player we now have. Campbell, toure and even gallas were way better players than TV and LK. Vieria was way ahead of song. Pires and freddie way ahead of theo and gervinho. thats just the way it is. I dont really blame wenger for the way the squad has gone. I think we just had to as we had to pay the stadium down, and city and chelsea emerged with massive spending (and barca and real too)

  19. Of course Wenger should go! He's won nothing for years and his teams have been woefully under performing when it matters. Surely its time to get a new man in to breath some life into the club.

5th highest wage bill in england jayram. And nothing on transfers. We are therefore (financially) probably doing "ok" if we come 5th/6th/7th
