not directly to do with yesterday, but whats going on with our set pieces, dont know if anyone gets to see the lads training, but ours are a bit pants.
watching stoke v mags and if anyone else has seen it, danny higginbothams free kick,
steve harper is a decent g/k, but when dh hit that ball the lad doesn't even get a chance to move, it was a belter, surely we must have someone who can hit a ball as clean as that.
also in the same game the way pennant crosses the ball. i quite rate this lad.

p.s even k jones had a half decent game, and its against the mags, get in
 
Made exactly the same point numerous times, most recently 10 minutes ago on another thread. We are wasting opportunities, need to sort this out!!

who should be our free kick taker? ive no idea, i know ricco has been known to hit them, but if he's not in the team,
remember the days of johnson and summerbee mate, them boys could cross a ball

I'll join you in being completely stumped as to WHO should be taking them!?!? Ricco's efforts have gone high, wide and handsome for a couple of years now, JH seems to fail to beat the man on the near post mainly, there just isn't somebody who seems able to deliver the ball with pace and whip on it! <grr>

Professional footballers, SHOULD be able to do this, if they can't, then........practice the skill!!
