Rags seem to link us with a lot of strikers but do we need another forward (if Suarez stays)?

And who would come to us? If you come to us you know you're going to be benched behind SAS.

Aspas can barely get a game... and its perhaps too early to sell him... he could still improve.

Would take balls for Rodgers to sell him after 6 months.

I guess realistically another good option up front would be nice... but anyone good enough wouldn't want to be benched.

I think ideally we need someone who is competition for Cout but can also play as a striker.

I'd like to see us give Morgan a go if we have an injury to Studge or Suarrez, he seems much more aggresive and confident lately.

Is this the lad that everybody has been talking about that's been coming through the academy system for the past few years? If so, just how good is he/potentially?

  4. It is, he plays a bit like David Villa but obviously not as good <laugh>

Morgan? Definitely not, nothing against the lad I just don't think he has all the right attributes to make it a Premiership player. Though if he keeps banging goals away like the one the other week then I can be persuaded to change my mind!

  6. He played well in the 2012 pre-season games but then, so did Voronin and more recently, Aspas too. I had a bit of hope fr the lad (not as much as I had for Pacheco mind) but he is starting to look like the ship has sailed.

We need another striker. Especially if we continue to play 2 up top.

If Suarez and Sturridge both missed the same game who would score?

If the game is tight and we need an extra striker on who do we bring on?

How do we keep Sturridge and Suarez on there toes?

Once we are back in Europe we will have a lot more games to play.

    Rodgers likes his 9.5's.

Luis Muriel could be a great option. Young, skillful, creative and versatile. Can play 9.5 or 10. Probably wide to.

Morgan has a knack of scoring goals - he's a 'fox in the box' type of striker. Unfortunately, I think he's quite one dimensional and isn't involved much in the build up - Rodgers like versatile players who switch positions and offer different things.

In reserve, we have Borini and Aspas...

Luis Muriel would be a fantastic signing and a potential Luis Suarez replacement.

Morgan could be a good impact sub. Like Hernandez.

If the Lewandowski wanting to come to the PL stuff is true I can see him going to Arsenal.

I thought he'd already signed a pre-contract with Bayern to join in summer for free but Bayern may pay a bit of money to get him in January, similar to what Spurs did with Holtby?
