http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=530936 So Earls Court has now absolutely gone. The article mentions White City as a possibility but I believe that some University is leading the way there and it will be announced soon that that has gone too.
Looks like temporary relocation and rebuilding over Stamford Bridge is fast becoming our only option. But that will mean huge losses.
Wondering where this leaves things with RA. It's crazy, we have an owner that wants to build us a state of the art stadium and can't.
If we can't go further up or out or away I say we dig down thirty or forty meters and have a basement pitch.
I think Dfer the problem with SB is only having one side to let the crowd onto(Fulham Rd). Hammersmith and Fulham wont permit larger crowds for that reason. I wonder if it was possible to build a bridge over the railway lines at the back of the ground?
Doh BM2 the answer is obvious. Escape Tunnels, they could lead peeps out to anywhere you want and maybe several of those little escape pods they have on the USS Enterprise that blast off, they would be cool. You could leave you seat and walk 20 yards to the tube platform too.
