For anyone who doesn't know we had a friendly against the Posh today, it finished all square 1 - 1 Trae Coyle was the scorer.

A much more complete side than last season with a forward line where responsibilities can be shared. All good teams have several goal scorers and history bears this out.
Whilst Tom Eaves scored over 20 goals per season, who else got amongst the goals and where did we finish?
Successful (Gills) teams have always had at least two regular goal scorers in the high teens.......Remember the 'old days' Yeo, Wilks and Richardson, Price and Westwood, Taylor and Asaba and even more recently McDonald and Bayo. Forwards hunt in pairs or even, on occasions, threes. The future's quite bright at the moment ...and will be even better once the crowds are allowed to (eventually) return.
